During our stay in Todos Santos, we will immerse ourselves in the delightful ambiance of Los Colibris Casitas, another hidden gem that offers an extraordinary blend of nature and comfort. Here, the vibrant birdlife and breathtaking views create a serene backdrop, while the culinary delights tantalize our taste buds, making every meal a celebration. Each morning, we will unleash our creativity in the art studio, which boasts a magnificent vista of the Pacific Ocean, inspiring our artistic endeavors. Afternoons will be a canvas of exploration, as we wander through the colorful streets of Todos Santos, stroll along the pristine beaches, or simply unwind by the pool, soaking in the breathtaking beauty and invigorating salty breeze of Baja California Sur. This experience promises not only relaxation but also a chance to rejuvenate our creative spirits and ignite our artistic passions in a truly magical setting.
Todos Santos is an artist colony located directly under the Tropic of Cancer, just one hour north of Cabo San Lucas but an entire world away. Nestled next to 70 miles of pristine, undeveloped beach, Todos Santos is famous for the remarkable quality of its light, which drew the first American artists from Taos in the 1980s. Since then artists of all stripes and nationalities have populated the town, which is a charming reflection of their passions with wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and shops. The people of Todos Santos are warm and welcoming and love sharing the pleasures of their hometown with visitors. The beaches of nearby Pescadero and Cerritos have added bonuses.

- You can make payment in full or a deposit of $1500.00 will reserve your spot with the balance due by February 15, 2026.
- Partner plan $1599.00 (if space available, spouse or partner will be included in all activities below except the workshop).
- Single room supplement fee $650.00 (limited availability)

Price includes:
- Free Airport Transfer to and from San Jose del Cabo aka Cabo San Lucas (SJD) (must arrive by 2p on retreat arrival day and 3p or later for flight on retreat departure day). If you cannot arrive within that window of time, there are other transfer options available.
- 6 nights lodging at Los Colibris Thursday, May 21st through Wednesday May 26th depart on May 27th.

The tentative Itinerary presented below serves as a preliminary framework for our upcoming Art Escapade, providing a glimpse into the exciting experiences that await us in Todos Santos. While it remains subject to change, this outline reflects our commitment to providing you with an unforgettable, exciting and creative experience. Each destination and activity has been thoughtfully selected to enrich your time spent with us.
- Day 1 - Arrival day, Welcome dinner in the evening. Time to meet and greet your fellow artists and hosts.
- Day 2 - 8 AM Guided Walk on the beach with Tami, Breakfast from 8 AM to 9:30 AM, studio time from 10 AM to 2 PM, Dinner on the beach at the Green Room
- Day 3 - Breakfast from 8AM to 9:30AM, Studio time from 10 AM to 2 PM, Early evening shopping and Art Galleries. Dinner at local Italian restaurant.
- Day 4 - Breakfast from 8 AM to 9:30 AM, Studio time from 10 AM to 2 PM. Dinner, Grill night by the Pool
- Day 5 - Breakfast from 8 AM to 9:30 AM, Studio time from 10 AM to 2 PM, Dinner and shopping out on the town.
- Day 6 - Breakfast from 8 AM to 9:30 AM. Studio Time from 10 AM to 2PM. Cooking class and Dinner with Chef Iker
- Day 7 - Depart for home. Breakfast provided 8 AM to 9:30 AM

If you choose to extend your stay there are excursion options that can be booked through Todos Santos Eco Adventures
Our hosts during this retreat are Tami and Jerry Macala. They have been hosting retreats at Los Colibris Casitas in Todos Santos for more than 10 years.
You will have plenty of free time to explore Todos Santos and its surrounding areas. Popular activities include hiking, beach walks, whale watching, gallery strolls, and shopping. There will also be excursion options that can be booked through Todos Santos Eco Adventures if you choose to extend your stay. Massage and yoga are offered at Los Colibris (Los Colibris’ yoga deck sits at the highest point of the property on the tropic of cancer, and has a most amazing view of the Pacific). Room selections will be made in order of full payments received.
We love staying at Los Colibris! The rustic and quaint feeling of Todos Santos and Los Colibris is the perfect location for the accommodations and create a wonderful environment for this mosaic art retreat.

- Deposit of $1500.00 may be made through a personal check or Venmo or Zelle.
- Credit cards accepted with an additional 4% fee added to the full price of the retreat.
- Material, tool list & instructions on packing will be sent after registration.
- Payment in full must be completed 90 days prior to the retreat.
Cancellation and refund policy:
- Up to 90 days before the retreat, all cancellations will be refunded in full minus a $200.00 processing fee.
- For reservations canceled less than 90 days before the retreat, 50% is refundable of the entire retreat price, meaning reservations canceled less than 90 days prior to the retreat WILL NOT be refunded your 50% deposit.
- For reservations canceled less than 45 days before the retreat, all fees paid are non-refundable and NO class credits will be given UNLESS there is a government travel ban and the workshop does not run.
All Cooped Up Productions, Inc. (SBSMA) have no obligation regarding any additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations. All Cooped Up Productions, Inc. (SBSMA) accept no liability for any airline cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket or for canceled flights. Travel Insurance is highly recommended. All workshop participants should consider purchasing Trip Cancellation, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Baggage, Accident and Medical insurance from a reputable insurance company.

About Patti and Dee, the artists and instructors:
Patti Euler is a mixed media artist and Golden certified artist educator from Savage, Maryland. Patti's passion for art is not only reflected in her own work but also in her dedication to helping others “Refine your technique and transform your art.” Her 23-year reign at The Queen's Ink has been marked by her generosity and warmth, making her classes a fun and laughter-filled experience. Patti’s warmth and vibrancy has touched the lives of many throughout the 23 years she has reigned at The Queen’s Ink. Her generous spirit flows through everything she touches and her classes are full of laughter.
Artist Dee (Diane) Gray loves exploring the use of mediums and styles within her mixed-media creations. From canvas, to clay, mosaics, jewelry making to fiber arts–she never grows tired of trying something new. Her one-of-a-kind “Gathered Curiosities” are handcrafted from a blend of vintage and new embellishments. She loves to scour antique shops, estate sales and the outdoors to find the unique treasures that are incorporated into her sought after creations. Her restyled curiosities convey both vintage patina and charm along with their unique detail and meaningful messages. She has coordinated Artisan & Craft Fairs for the past seven years and also displays and sells her work at other select artisan fairs in the Spring and Fall.
