We have included two packages to choose from: the Ferrari Package and the Maserati Package. 

A $1000.00 (USD) deposit will book your spot and the final balance will be due 90 days prior to the tour. You can pay with Zelle or a personal check. 

The Ferrari Package: $3800.00 dbl occ., plus $1000.00 additional for a single supplement

8 nights: Silvia’s Suites (4 available, first come first serve)

About 5 Minute walk to KoKo Mosaico

Each suite includes a private kitchen with a dinner table, bathroom, beautiful sofa, free WIFI, TV, sheets, towels, and all kitchen necessities. There is a lift, so there is no need to take the stairs with luggage.

The Maserati Package: $4300.00 dbl occ. plus $1000.00 additional for a single supplement

8 nights: Hotel Palazzo Galletti Abbiosi (includes continental breakfast)

It is a very short walk to the mosaic studio (50-80 meters)

All rooms are non-smoking with air-conditioning, a desk, telephone, free Wi-Fi, a safe, LCD TV, and minibar. Includes breakfast. 

Each package includes the following:

• Welcome dinner Cubano Trattoria 
• Guided walking tour of UNESCO mosaic sites includes entry ticket
• Tour Mar Museum of Contemporary Art Ravenna with Arianna Gallo
• Visit 2-3 Mosaic Artists and Studios 
• Space Invader mosaic tour
• 3-day workshop with Arianna Gallo, “The Direct Contemporary Method”
• Cooking class
• Wrap up dinner

We will ask you to decide which one you want as soon as possible. If you would like a single room, there is an additional fee, and we will need to make sure we have enough rooms/units available to meet your needs. 

We have not included airport transportation because we know many of you might fly into other cities to tour or come at different times. If you fly into Bologna, a private car will take about one hour and run about $200. We are happy to recommend a few options you can book on your own.

The itinerary is as follows:

• Arrive in Ravenna on September 11th
• September 12th MAR museum and welcome Dinner
• September 13th we will have a guided tour of many of the UNESCO mosaic sites.
• September 14th We will tour mosaic art studios and meet the artists 
• September 14th evening Cooking class
• September 15th-17th Direct Contemporary Method workshop with Arianna Gallo
• September 18th Space Invader tour, shopping and Closing Dinner

Cancellation and refund policy:

• Up to 90 days before the retreat, all cancellations will be refunded in full minus a  $200.00 processing fee. Alternately a full credit of fees paid may be applied to a future retreat within 12 months if available.
• For reservations canceled less than 90 days before the retreat, 50% is refundable of the entire retreat price, meaning reservations canceled less than 90 days prior to the retreat WILL NOT be refunded your 50% deposit.
• For reservations canceled less than 45 days before the retreat, all fees paid are non-refundable and NO class credits will be given UNLESS there is a government travel ban and the workshop does not run.

All Cooped Up Productions, Inc. (SBSMA) have no obligation regarding any additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations. All Cooped Up Productions, Inc. (SBSMA) accept no liability for any airline cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket or for canceled flights.  Travel Insurance is highly recommended.  All workshop participants should consider purchasing Trip Cancellation, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Baggage, Accident and Medical insurance from a reputable insurance company.

About Tami the artist and tour leader:

A professional mosaic artist and teacher, Tami has been creating art all her life and mosaic art for over 20 years. In 2009 she started the Santa Barbara School of Mosaic Art based on her love for mosaic art and wanting to share her passion with other creative people. Tami and her husband Jerry also own Mosaic Arts Online and Create Arts Online. Both of these online schools are their full time job when they are not hosting retreats around the world.

About Arianna the artist and teacher:

Arianna was born near Ravenna and graduated from the Gino Severini Mosaic Art Institute in Ravenna and from the School for Mosaic Restoration of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage in Ravenna. "I founded Koko Mosaico in 2005 together with my husband Luca Barberini. I like to define the laboratory as an open, bright and international space, a forge where ideas are transformed into concrete. At Koko Mosaico I take care of commissions, artistic collaborations and teaching mosaic techniques. I love my job."
